Open House Information on Listings

Open houses are a great way to market a property and attract potential buyers. There were some changes introduced last year regarding how open house information is displayed on listings.

Now, it is not enough to just post open house information on mls listings as the information does not automatically transfer on to www.realtor.ca like it did before.

In order for open house information of a listing to be displayed on www.realtor.ca, each listing agent has to do this manually.

Follow these instructions to ensure that your open house information for your listing comes up on www.realtor.ca:

1. Log on to www.torontomls.net

2. Under the Links section, select Manage My Profile

3. Once you click Manage My Profile, you will be asked to enter your USER ID and PASSWORD

*User Id refers to your Treb #: 955....

*Password refers to the first letter of your first name followed by your last name

From there, you will be able to access your listing(s) and you can enter the public open house information. Once you enter the info, it will appear on Realtor.ca within approximately 24 to 48 hours. Please do this early to ensure that the information appears on Realtor.ca before your open house date.

**Please Note**

Open House information you put on the listing data form will appear on MLS listings only. This means only sales representatives can see it. In order for the info to appear on realtor.ca to the public, you must follow the steps above.
