Prices of homes in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area have increased to an all-time high. This is why some individuals are now seeking to purchase properties elsewhere.
Realtors from the Greater Toronto Area lined up on Saturday, September 17th for the release of a new home project set to be built in Cambridge off of Limerick Road.
The new homes are to be built by Crystal Homes. 400 homes are expected to be built off of Limerick Road.
Many real estate sales representatives from Toronto, Mississauga and Brampton went to Cambridge with their clients hoping to purchase a new home set to be built by Crystal Homes. A few of the realtors had been waiting in line since Friday.
According to one of the realtors who were among those waiting in line since Friday, the area where the new home project is set to be built in is a good one and the prices are attractive.
The average price of a home in Cambridge is below $400,000, however, the local real estate board stated that housing prices are increasing in the region.
The local real estate board in Cambridge said the increase in prices comes from a lack of listings as well as demand from buyers from other areas.
